Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve been talking to our young and talented cast. They answer questions about their characters and time on set with the cast and crew and reveal their hopes for the film once it reaches audiences.

“I would describe Niki with these three words: strong, family-oriented, and protective,” said Ramirez. “He’s a very loyal person. And like, if you need him, he’ll be there for you and never leave your side. Even though he is the youngest cousin, he is still pretty tough and strong. And protective.”

“Tomi is funny, protective, and a rebellious artist. He’s that family member who has more depth than meets the eye,” shared Medina. “He may act out or make choices you don’t like, but there’s always a reason behind it.”

“Despite his rebellious streak, Tomi’s actions are driven by love and the desire to protect them. I think audiences will connect with his role in the family and his emotional complexity.”
